Clark Atlanta University has begun a search for a new head football coach after the school announced it did not retain Kevin Ramsey.
The Panthers went 3-7 last season and were 13-26 under Ramsey after he took over the program in 2015.
Assistant coaches will remain during the transition. According to Dawson, each will have an opportunity to interview with the next leader head coach.
Ramsey attended Indiana State University where he played defensive back from 1980-83. He had assistant coaching stops at Kansas State, Arizona State, Michigan, Georgia and Tennessee. He was also an assistant with the NFL’s Cardinals from 2000-02.
